Database Manager Job Description
We are hiring Database Managers who can oversee database management end-to-end. Therefore, if you are someone who lives and breathes database management, then this job is for you.
You should be proficient in SQL databases, data architecture, data warehousing, and cloud migration. Also, experience in Unix Shell Scripting, project management, HTML, Agile, and Waterfall model is commendable.

- Expertise in relational database management system software
- Hands-on experience in Oracle, IBM DB2, Microsoft SQL Server

- Strong analytical capabilities using predictive analytics, data visualization tools
- Experience in using application server software and archival software
A day in the Life of a Data Manager will look like this
- Support the organization’s strategic use of data to further goals and objectives related to donor, prospect and leadership development
- Manage and maintain Microsoft Dynamics – the customer relationship management (CRM) database
- Develop and execute data in all production and non-production databases and replication servers
- Develop processes for monitoring database systems, with a key focus on performance
- Process and track vendor invoices and agreements
- Produce management information on the Product Communications Team’s RFP & RFI work
- Support and oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrading of database applications, data integrity, data normalization, backup and restore procedures, and data corruption restores
- Hand-hold Program Management in the development of documents and solution demonstrations by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and charts
- Work in proximity with quality assurance in identifying bugs and building fixes
- Analyze requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
