Considerations for Hiring a Marketing Associate

A Marketing Associate is responsible for administrating tasks of the Marketing department and supporting its advertising campaigns.

A candidate for this role should have deep knowledge of sales and marketing metrics (like web traffic and conversion rates). As part of the recruitment process, you can also assign a project or a few small tests to assess how a candidate calculates KPIs using Excel formulas or other tools.

Inexperienced candidates with a degree in marketing may have theoretical knowledge of marketing terminology and strategies.
